 This looks Mesopotamian, almost. The way the feathers come down from her head reminds me of that. Good job on it.

-- "Tell all the Truth but tell it slant" Emily Dickinson   I agree with goldfish, I immediately thought of the middle east when I looked at this piece. The head feathers...remind me of a helmet, and remind me of a messenger of war, perhaps, with the man as the general. I like how she blocks the lower part of the picture, it creates awesome depth. The lighting is fantastic, the glow I'm assuming coming from an oil lamp? Beautiful work!

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
